Job Title: Roll Forming Machine Operator (Roofing Sheets)Job SummaryThe Roll Forming Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining roll forming machinery used in the production of roofing sheets. The role includes handling raw material coils, operating printing equipment, managing overhead crane operations, and ensuring safe loading and unloading of coils and finished products. The operator must ensure high-quality production, workplace safety, and efficient workflow.

• Key Responsibilities1. Roll Forming Machine OperationSet up, operate, and monitor the roll forming machine for manufacturing roofing sheets.
• Adjust machine settings according to production specifications (length, thickness, profile).
• Perform routine inspections to ensure proper machine performance.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain consistent production quality and minimize material wastage.
• 2. Roofing Sheet ProductionEnsure roofing sheets are produced according to approved designs and quality standards.
• Measure and inspect finished sheets for accuracy in dimensions and finish.
• Stack and prepare finished goods for packaging or dispatch.
• 3. Printer OperationOperate and monitor the sheet printing machine as required.
• Ensure correct design, color alignment, and print quality.
• Maintain printing equipment and ensure proper ink usage and cleanliness.
• 4. Crane Operation & Material HandlingOperate overhead crane for safe loading and unloading of steel coils.
• Transport coils to the production line safely and efficiently.
• Handle finished goods using crane or other lifting equipment.
• Ensure safe stacking and storage of materials.
• 5. Loading & UnloadingLoad raw material coils onto the roll forming machine.
• Assist in unloading finished roofing sheets for storage or transportation.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of materials and finished goods.
• 6. Safety & MaintenanceFollow all workplace safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work area.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines.
• Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or technical certification preferred.
• Proven experience operating roll forming machines or similar industrial equipment.
• Experience operating overhead crane and printing machinery is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in an industrial environment.
