Business Development Executive - Rooftop Solar Power Sales - (TATA Power)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the rooftop solar power sales industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and a passion for renewable energy.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and assess their solar power needs
• Develop and execute a sales plan to target new business opportunities in the residential and commercial sectors
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services, as well as industry trends and regulations
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry professionals
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve targeted sales goals
• Collaborate with our engineering and technical teams to ensure that project proposals meet customer requirements and adhere to industry standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in our CRM system
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, engineering)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a non-technical audience
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals
• Self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in renewable energy, Electrical, engineering, technical, or other sectors where per-order value is high, such as Automobile, Real Estate, Banking, or Insurance.
• Freshers can also apply, provided they fulfill the required criteria and are willing to undertake relevant training.
