Internet Technician

The Optical Fiber Splicer is responsible for fiber optic cable splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted network performance. The candidate must be skilled in using fiber splicing machines, OTDR, power meters, and other related tools.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform splicing, termination, and jointing of optical fiber cables.
• Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, Power Meter, Light Source, and related tools.
• Identify and rectify fiber faults efficiently.
• Install and maintain ODF, Patch Panels, Joint Closures, and related equipment.
• Participate in network cutovers, link migrations, and fault restoration activities.
• Prepare accurate splicing records, fiber route documentation, and daily reports.
• Follow all site safety standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with the client and internal teams for smooth operations.
