Account Executive (Accounting)

Job Description – Junior Accountant at Vinayak Diamond Tools

Department: Accounts & Finance, Location: Sitapura, Jaipur

Reports To: Head -Finance & Accounts 

1. Key Responsibilities

A. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Pass daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP system.

• Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records.

• Prepare vouchers (Payment, Receipt, Journal, Contra).

• Maintain petty cash and daily cash book.

• Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis.

B. Purchase & Vendor Accounting

• Verify purchase bills with GRN and purchase orders.

• Maintain vendor ledger and reconcile supplier statements.

• Process vendor payments as per approval.

• Maintain record of advances to suppliers.

C. Sales & Receivables

• Prepare and record sales invoices.

• Maintain customer ledger.

• Follow up for outstanding receivables.

• Assist in preparing aging reports.

D. GST & Statutory Compliance

• Assist in preparation of GST data (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).

• Maintain proper records of input and output GST.

• Support in TDS calculation and entries.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

E. Inventory & Production Support

• Coordinate with store department for stock records.

• Assist in stock verification and reconciliation.

• Maintain records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

F. Reporting & Documentation

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.

• Maintain proper filing (physical & digital).

• Support during internal and statutory audits.

2. Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com

• Additional certification in Tally / GST preferred

Experience

• 1–3 years experience in accounting (Preferably in manufacturing unit)

Salary 

• Up to 4 Lac per annum
