Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliances, and financial reconciliations. The role requires strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST, TDS, and accounting software such as Tally.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting records
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries
• Maintain ledgers and ensure accurate books of accounts

GST Compliance

• End-to-end handling of GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
• Reconcile GST input credit and ensure timely and accurate filings
• Coordinate with consultants for audits, notices, and assessments

TDS Compliance

• Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable sections
• File TDS returns and manage challans and certificates (Form 16/16A)
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory deadlines

Reconciliations

• Bank reconciliations and cash reconciliations
• Credit reconciliation with marketplaces, payment gateways, and vendors
• GST, TDS, and ledger reconciliations

Accounting Software & Reporting

• Maintain accounts in Tally (ERP / Prime)
• Prepare monthly MIS, expense reports, and basic financial statements
• Support year-end closing and audit requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of GST laws and compliance
• Hands-on experience with TDS calculations and filings
• Proficiency in Tally
• Experience in account and credit reconciliations
• Good understanding of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliance

Preferred Experience

• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or jewellery industry
• Exposure to payment gateways and marketplace reconciliations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-growing online business
