Accountant

1. Direct Tax Compliance

Preparation and timely filing of TDS returns in compliance with applicable laws.

Strong working knowledge of TDS provisions and sections (including rates, deductions, due dates, and compliance requirements).

Accurate calculation, reconciliation, and reporting of TDS, including challans, Form 26Q/24Q, and Form 16/16A coordination.

2. Indirect Tax (GST) Compliance

Thorough knowledge of GST laws and return procedures.

Hands-on working knowledge of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, including data preparation, reconciliation with books, and timely filing.

Coordination with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies in GST returns and ITC.

3. Accounting & Reporting

Ability to prepare, review, and analyze Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.

Identification of discrepancies, variances, and compliance issues in financial statements.

Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.

4. Systems & Tools

Strong Excel skills, including practical knowledge of VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas for data analysis and reporting.

Working knowledge of ERP and accounting software such as Tally and Zoho, including day-to-day accounting entries and report generation.

5. Process & Compliance Support

Ensuring adherence to statutory timelines and internal accounting processes.

Maintaining proper documentation and records for audits and assessments.

Supporting management with accurate financial data and MIS reports.
