Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.
• Maintain and update financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).
• Collaborate with auditors during audits.
• Monitor and report on financial performance.
• Support the finance team with other tasks as needed.
