Accountant

We are a fast-growing shipping aggregator looking for a meticulous and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. In the logistics and aggregation industry, precision is everything. You will be responsible for managing the high-volume financial transactions that define our business, ensuring that our client ledgers are airtight, and our tax compliance is flawless.

• Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & ManagementMaintain and oversee the day-to-day books of accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
• Taxation & ComplianceGST: End-to-end management of GST filings (GSTR-1, 3B), ensuring accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.
• TDS: Accurate deduction, payment, and quarterly filing of TDS returns.
• Stay updated on the latest tax amendments and ensure the company remains 100% compliant with local regulations.
• 3. Client Ledger & Revenue ManagementManage the Client Ledger for a large portfolio of shippers and merchants.
• Reconcile shipping charges, COD (Cash on Delivery) remittances, and wallet balances.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• 4. Audit & ReportingCoordinate with external auditors for statutory and tax audits.
• Generate MIS reports for management to provide insights into profitability and operational costs.
• Advance Excel.
