Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Role & Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in line with NBFC accounting standards and internal policies.
• Handle day-to-day accounting entries, bank reconciliation, cash/bank books, and ledger scrutiny.
• Prepare and maintain loan-related accounting, including disbursements, interest income, EMIs, NPA provisioning, and write-offs.
• Ensure GST compliance including return filing, reconciliation, and responding to notices, if any.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
• Support statutory, internal, and concurrent audits by providing required data and explanations.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, accounting norms, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal departments for financial matters.
• Monitor expense control and ensure proper documentation and approvals.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (CA-Inter / M.Com preferred).
• Prior experience in NBFC, Bank, or Financial Services industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and NBFC accounting practices.
• Hands-on experience with Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of loan accounting and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
