Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support our CA/CMA firm in handling accounting, bookkeeping, and financial record management for multiple clients. The candidate should have good knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliation, and MS Excel, along with the ability to assist in finalization of books and financial reporting.

  • Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Bookkeeping & AccountingMaintain books of accounts for clients using accounting software such as Tally or similar platforms.
  • Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
  • 2. Ledger Scrutiny & Suspense ClearingReview and reconcile ledger balances periodically.
  • Identify and clear suspense entries and unreconciled balances.
  • Rectify accounting errors and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • 3. Bank & Account ReconciliationPerform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
  • Identify mismatches and coordinate with clients for corrections.
  • Maintain proper documentation for reconciliation adjustments.
  • 4. Finalization SupportAssist in finalization of books of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
  • Support in preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with seniors for audit and compliance work.
  • 5. Data Management & ReportingPrepare reports and working sheets in MS Excel.
  • Maintain client data, accounting records, and financial documents in organized formats.
  • Assist in drafting basic financial summaries and working papers.
  • 6. Client CoordinationCommunicate with clients for documents, bank statements, invoices, and clarifications.
  • Follow up for missing accounting data and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Required SkillsStrong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
  • Experience with Tally or similar accounting software.
  • Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to draft professional emails and basic financial documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Preferred SkillsExposure to GST accounting and compliance.
  • Experience working in CA/CMA firms or handling multiple client accounts.
