Job Brief

We are looking for a Team Lead – Accounts who will play a critical role in managing the company’s financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing financial reports, managing tax compliance, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, reconciliation, and financial reporting along with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow).

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.

• Provide insights and financial analysis to support management decisions.

Reconciliation

• Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS) regularly.

• Reconcile Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other financial accounts.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.

• Monitor budget vs actual performance and provide variance analysis.

General Ledger Management

• Maintain and update the General Ledger (GL).

• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and systematically.

Tax Compliance

• Handle GST returns, GST reconciliation (GSTR-2B), and GST annual return preparation.

• Manage TDS, Advance Tax, and Income Tax related entries and documentation.

• Prepare RCM invoices and tax-related reports.

Audit Support

• Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documents.

• Implement recommendations for process improvement and compliance.

Financial Analysis

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Provide insights for improving financial performance.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with finance and other departments.

• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications & Experience

• M.Com / MBA (Finance) with 4+ years of relevant experience OR • CA Inter (Dropout / Qualified) with 3+ years of relevant experience

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles & Bookkeeping

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Table)

• Experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Compliance

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

Additional Requirements

• Experience in Bank Reconciliation (BRS)

• Preparation of MIS Reports

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple financial tasks
