Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant – Job DescriptionAn Assistant Accountant supports the finance and accounting operations of the organization by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in reporting and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., TallyPrime)
• Maintain purchase, sales, and expense entries
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, and payment records
• Assist in GST filing, tax calculations, and compliance
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Support in preparing financial reports and audits
• Maintain proper documentation and records

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with GST and taxation
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and communication skills

Qualification:

• B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting background
• 1–3 years experience preferred
