📌 Job Summary

The Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth service, high-quality food standards, and excellent customer experience in a South Indian dining environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

* Operations Management

Oversee daily restaurant operations (dine-in, takeaway, delivery)

Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service staff

Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards

*  Staff Supervision

Assist in hiring, training, and scheduling staff

Supervise waiters, kitchen helpers, and cashiers

Maintain discipline and motivate team members

* Customer Service

Handle customer queries and complaints professionally

Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience

Maintain hospitality standards typical of South Indian culture 

* Financial Duties

Assist in billing, cash handling, and daily sales reports

Monitor inventory and reduce wastage

Support cost control and profitability

 * Hygiene & Compliance

Ensure cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas

Follow food safety standards (FSSAI guidelines in India)

Maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients

* Required Skills

Good communication and leadership skills

Knowledge of South Indian cuisine (dosa, idli, sambar, etc.)

* Problem-solving and multitasking ability

Basic computer skills (billing software, Excel)

*  Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in hospitality (preferred)

1–3 years experience in restaurant or hotel management
