Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – HR will lead and manage end-to-end HR operations for Burger Farm, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, store-level HR support, and statutory compliance across Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi NCR & Uttar Pradesh.

This role involves supervising the HR team, ensuring timely hiring for multiple outlets, implementing HR systems, and maintaining a positive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

A. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

• Lead end-to-end hiring for Store, Kitchen, and Head Office positions.
• Plan monthly manpower requirements with Operations & Store Managers.
• Review sourcing strategy and guide HR Executives/Recruiters.
• Maintain hiring tracker, offer letters, and pipeline management.
• Ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and joining formalities.

B. Attendance, Payroll & Compliance

• Monitor daily attendance from all stores and ensure accuracy in HRIS.
• Coordinate monthly payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, incentives).
• Ensure compliance for PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity & other statutory norms.
• Maintain employee files, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Support labor law compliance across all outlets.

C. Employee Relations & Store HR Support

• Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances.
• Resolve issues related to salary, leave, behavior, discipline & policy.
• Conduct store visits for manpower audits and HR inspection.
• Support Operations Team with on-ground HR coordination.
• Track absenteeism, attrition, disciplinary cases & employee performance concerns

D. Training, Development & Engagement

• Coordinate training sessions for new joiners & existing staff.
• Prepare training calendars in collaboration with Operations.
• Plan and execute employee engagement activities/events.
• Improve communication channels and promote positive culture.

E. HR Policy Implementation

• Ensure implementation of HR policies across all stores.
• Guide staff and managers on policy adherence and code of conduct.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements.

F. HR Reporting & MIS

• Maintain daily, weekly & monthly HR reports.
• Ensure updated trackers: hiring, joining, attrition, payroll MIS.
• Present HR dashboards to Management for decision-making.

Skills Required

• Strong communication & leadership skills.
• Expertise in recruitment for high-volume retail/restaurant operations.
• Knowledge of payroll, attendance & basic labour laws.
• Ability to manage multiple stores & resolve people-related challenges.
• Good command on Excel, MIS & HRIS tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
