Assistant Manager- Security Automation

Responsibilities

Operational Support:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security equipment its accessories and network /active devices and passive system such as CCTVs/ Video Management System, Access Control System, Radio Communication system, Screening Equipment (CTiX, XBis, FBS, DFMD, ETD, EVD, LED etc.), QRT & BDDS Equipment, and intrusion detection system.

Support the implementation of security technology projects and ensure operational readiness. Monitor and maintain security systems, including CCTV, access control, screening & surveillance equipment and other automation technologies, ensuring continuous operation.

Perform regular checks and troubleshooting to ensure airport security system, equipment and security control room (SOCC, AHCR) are functioning properly and report any issues to the lead.

Incident Response and Investigation:

Assist in investigating security incidents, including theft, fraud, and vandalism, ensuring timely collection of evidence and incident documentation.

Support the implementation of remedial actions following investigations to improve security measures and prevent future incidents.

Regularly check the data from CCTVs, sensors and other such automation equipment to ensure operational vigilance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Gather data from security systems and perform analysis to identify trends in incidents, providing actionable insights to the Lead

Prepare and submit weekly reports on security activities, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvements.

Loss Prevention Support:

Implement day-to-day loss prevention measures by monitoring areas of high risk and taking immediate action to mitigate potential losses.

Support the coordination of security operations with site personnel to ensure adherence to established SOPs and security guidelines.

Access Control and Visitor Management:

Oversee the access control system, ensuring the accurate management of employee and visitor access, including badge issuance and tracking.

Report any discrepancies in access control procedures and help enforce security protocols for all personnel entering the premises.

Continuous Learning and Process Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to enhance operational efficiency.

Suggest improvements in security processes and automation initiatives to the lead, contributing to the department’s ongoing success.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Tech/ Engineering, Electronics or in related field.

Experiences:

5-10 years ( Depending on the site complexity) and requirement of work experience in security Technology and automation systems. Should have experience in managing and implementation of security systems like CCTV,ACS, Screening & Surveillance systems, Intrusion System etc.
