Production Planning:

• Planning orders based on priority (custom orders, bulk production, exhibitions).
• Estimating timelines for CAD designing, casting, polishing, stone setting, QC, etc.
• Resource planning (labour, machines, materials).

Material Management:

• Ensuring timely availability of gold, silver, gemstones, findings, etc.
• Coordinating with the purchase department.

Routing and Scheduling:

• Creating daily/weekly production schedules.
• Assigning work to different departments (like CAD, Casting, Setting, Polishing).

Monitoring Production:

• Tracking WIP (Work in Progress).
• Identifying bottlenecks (like delays in stone setting or polishing).
• Ensuring production is happening as per plan.

Quality Control:

• Checking finished goods to meet the desired quality standards.

Coordination with Teams:

• Working closely with the design team, factory workers, QC, and dispatch.

Reporting:

• Maintaining production MIS reports.
• Reporting to management about production status, delays, material shortages, etc
