Job Description
- Conduct day-to-day audit work including vouching, ledger scrutiny, verification of financial transactions, reconciliations (bank, GST, TDS, debtors, creditors), and review of books, registers, inventory, assets, and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparation, documentation, and reporting by maintaining proper working papers, preparing schedules and annexures, drafting audit observations, and supporting seniors in finalizing audit reports and internal audit presentations.
- Handle compliance and return filing support including timely and accurate assistance in GST returns, TDS returns, statutory filings, GST review checks (2B, 3B, 1), and helping clients organize books and records in good order.
- Coordinate with clients and internal team by following up for information, resolving basic queries, maintaining audit progress on Coda/Drive, and ensuring smooth communication between client, senior, and partner.
- Support overall management and execution of assignments including due diligence, assessments, notices, internal controls review, and ensuring deadlines, quality standards, confidentiality, and proper workflow management are maintained.
