Job Description
- Design and Drafting:
- Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings for various projects, such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, or civil designs.
- Interpret and apply design specifications and regulations to drawings.
- Produce accurate drawings, schematics, blueprints, and layouts and have knowledge for rendering softwares
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
- Assist in project planning by preparing sketches, drafts, and models for review and approval.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support during project execution and resolve any design-related issues.
- Ensure that drawings adhere to applicable industry standards and guidelines.
- Revisions and Updates:
- Update and revise drawings based on feedback from clients or team members.
- Maintain a well-organized file system for storing and retrieving design documents.
- Material and Cost Estimation:
- Assist with estimating the materials required for a project based on design specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates and work schedules for project milestones.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct checks and reviews of designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Address any discrepancies or errors in design documents promptly.
- Skills Required:Proficiency in AutoCAD:
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD software (both 2D and 3D capabilities).
- Familiarity with other design tools (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Design Principles:
- A solid understanding of engineering or architectural principles and practices.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Attention to Detail:
- Ability to create accurate and precise designs with a keen eye for detail.
- Problem-Solving:
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the design process.
- Communication:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Time Management:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
