Job Description

About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager to lead our franchise expansion initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end franchise development process—from generating and nurturing leads to launching and supporting new franchise stores. The ideal candidate should also be versatile enough to contribute cross-functionally to other departments within the company.

  • Key Responsibilities:Franchise Expansion & Management

  • Identify potential franchise partners and markets across India (and/or internationally).
  • Manage the complete franchise onboarding process, from initial contact to agreement signing and store launch.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth franchise setup and compliance.
  • Lead Generation & Relationship Building

  • Generate quality leads through various channels: digital campaigns, networking, trade shows, and referrals.
  • Follow up on incoming franchise inquiries, conduct evaluations, and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with franchise partners to ensure mutual success.
  • Cross-Department Involvement

  • Work closely with marketing, product, operations, and finance teams to align business strategies.
  • Provide insights from franchisee interactions to help shape future marketing, product offerings, and customer experience.
  • Performance Monitoring

  • Track the performance of newly opened stores and provide ongoing support to franchisees.
  • Assist in training and development programs to ensure franchisees meet brand standards.
  • Requirements:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably with exposure to franchising
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and across teams
  • Willingness to travel as required
