Position: Career Counsellor / Education Advisor

Role Overview

The Career Counsellor will play a key role in guiding students throughout their academic decisions. This

role blends counselling, communication, and admissions expertise to help students move confidently

toward their career goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Counselling

● Engage with students via calls, WhatsApp, and online meetings.

● Understand their academic background and recommend suitable online degree programs.

● Provide clear guidance about university options, learning formats, and timelines.

2. Lead Handling & Follow-Up

● Manage daily leads efficiently and maintain a disciplined follow-up process.

● Update lead status regularly using internal sheets/CRM tools.

● Ensure a smooth experience from first contact to admission confirmation.

3. Conversion & Coordination

● Assist students through the entire application and documentation process.

● Build trust, resolve concerns, and help students make informed decisions.

● Maintain a student-first approach while achieving admissions targets.

4. Communication Excellence

● Represent ALP with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.

● Maintain consistency in tone and accuracy of information.

● Uphold service quality that strengthens the ALP brand.

Who We Are Looking For

● Strong communication skills (Hindi/English).

● Ability to handle multiple leads and prioritise effectively.

● Confident, patient, and student-focused.

● Experience in EdTech, admissions, or counselling is useful (not mandatory).
