Job Title: CCTV, FAS & SAS Installation Technician

Department: Technical / Operations

Reports To: Technical Supervisor / Project Manager

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and experienced technician responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of CCTV systems, Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), and Security Alarm Systems (SAS) across various project sites. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in fieldwork and must be capable of working independently or as part of a team.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Install and configure CCTV systems including IP and analog cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and monitors.
• Perform system integration, cabling, and troubleshooting of CCTV networks.
• Install and commission Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) including smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, hooters, and control panels.
• Install and configure Security Alarm Systems (SAS), including motion sensors, door contacts, sirens, and alarm control panels.
• Conduct site surveys, analyze technical requirements, and ensure optimal equipment placement.
• Maintain documentation of installation reports, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance and testing of installed systems to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients for timely project completion.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and industry standards.
• Requirements:Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CCTV, FAS, and SAS installations.
• Strong knowledge of electronic security systems and low-voltage electrical work.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with tools like multimeters, drills, and crimping tools.
• Should be comfortable working at heights and in field conditions.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent technical certification.
• Preferred Skills:Certification in CCTV and Fire Alarm systems.
• Understanding of networking basics (IP addressing, LAN, WiFi configurations).
• Ability to train end-users on installed systems.
