Job Description
Job Description – Chemist (Food Department, NABL Lab)
We are seeking a Chemist for the Food Testing Department in a NABL-accredited laboratory. The candidate will be responsible for performing chemical analysis of food samples as per standard methods and NABL guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical testing of food samples as per FSSAI/IS/ISO methods
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as per NABL requirements
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of samples
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments
- Follow quality control procedures and safety guidelines
- Assist in method validation and reporting
Requirements:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or related field
- Basic knowledge of food testing and laboratory practices
- Familiarity with NABL/ISO 17025 guidelines preferred
