Job Description
- 1. Food Quality & PresentationEnsure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
- Follow standard recipes and plating guidelines.
- 2. Kitchen Operations ManagementManage daily kitchen operations smoothly.
- Ensure timely preparation and service of food.
- 3. Food Safety & HygieneMaintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked food.
- 4. Inventory & Cost ControlMonitor food stock, minimize wastage, and control food cost.
- Maintain proper inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- 5. Menu Planning & InnovationAssist in creating and updating menus.
- Introduce new dishes and improve existing recipes.
- 6. Team ManagementSupervise kitchen staff and assign duties.
- Train junior chefs and maintain discipline in the kitchen.
- 7. Guest SatisfactionEnsure food quality meets guest expectations.
- Address guest feedback or complaints related to food.
- 8. Coordination with Other DepartmentsCoordinate with service staff, procurement, and management for smooth operations.
- 9. Compliance & SafetyFollow health, hygiene, and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- 10. Time Management & ProductivityEnsure food preparation and delivery are completed within required time.
