Counter Sales Executive

A Counter Sales Associate greets customers, identifies their needs, provides product information, processes sales/payments, and ensures satisfaction, handling transactions and inquiries at a retail counter while maintaining an organized area and potentially managing inventory to drive sales and build customer loyalty. Key duties involve product knowledge, efficient transaction handling (cash/card), complaint resolution, and contributing to store goals. 

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers, understand needs, offer solutions, answer questions, and resolve complaints professionally.
• Sales & Transactions: Process orders, handle cash/card payments accurately, promote products, and meet sales targets.
• Product Knowledge: Educate customers on product features, pricing, and promotions.
• Store Operations: Keep the counter/sales floor clean, organized, and stocked; update inventory.
• Reporting: Update customer info, report issues, and potentially assist with daily sales reports. 

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; basic computer/POS system proficiency; positive attitude; ability to work in a team.
