Credit Manager-Loan Against Property-Credit

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Credit Underwriter to manage credit evaluation for Self-Employed Non-Professional (SENP) and Self-Employed Professional (SEP) mortgage cases. The role involves in-depth financial analysis, customer visits, and credit decision-making to ensure high-quality underwriting and minimal delinquency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mortgage lending, economic indicators, and regulatory norms. The role also includes mentoring Credit Processing Associates (CPAs), monitoring their productivity, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and audit standards. Conduct credit underwriting for SENP/SEP mortgage cases with in-depth financial and business analysis. Visit customers to understand business background and validate financials. Monitor delinquency of underwritten cases during the initial stages to maintain near-zero default levels. Maintain credit quality and stay updated on economic indicators and mortgage industry trends. Ensure consistent productivity in processing and decision-making. Support implementation of head office and local credit policies at the ground level. Mentor and monitor CPAs to ensure quality output and productivity. Handle audit and compliance requirements related to underwriting.
