Position: Electrician – Lighting Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Electrician who has hands-on experience in the lighting industry. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across multiple operational areas, including store management, customer support, product demonstrations, assembly, installation, and team supervision.

This role requires both technical knowledge and strong communication skills, with the ability to guide other electricians and support day-to-day operations within the company.

• Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical & Installation Work Perform installation of lighting fixtures, LED products, indoor/outdoor lights, and specialized lighting solutions.

• Troubleshoot electrical and lighting-related issues at customer locations.
• Assemble lighting fixtures, test components, and ensure proper wiring and finishing.

2. Operations & Store Management Assist in store operations including inventory handling, stock arrangement, and issuing/receiving materials.

• Support dispatch activities—packing, labeling, coordinating deliveries.
• Maintain documentation of materials used, returned, and issued.

3. Customer Interaction & Support Attend customer visits for installation, service, and demonstrations.

• Explain product features, usage, and maintenance to customers.
• Provide quick resolutions for lighting or electrical complaints.

4. Product Demonstration & Sample Handling Showcase product samples to walk-in customers, channel partners, and electricians.

• Conduct demonstrations on installation techniques and product benefits.

5. Supervising & Guiding Junior Electricians Support and guide other electricians or helpers on installation standards.

• Ensure proper safety measures and quality checks are followed during installations.
• Train team members on company lighting products and best practices.

6. Coordination & Communication, Coordinate with sales, operations, and warehouse teams for project requirements.

• Report daily work status, completed tasks, and material usage to management.

Requirements Must Have Minimum 2–5 years experience as an electrician, preferably in the lighting industry.

• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, LED technology, and lighting fixtures.
• Ability to assemble, test, and install lighting products.
• Basic understanding of store & dispatch processes.
• Customer-handling skills.
• Ability to supervise and guide other electricians.
• Good to Have Experience with architectural or decorative lighting.
• Knowledge of controllers, dimmers, LED drivers, sensors, etc.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, plans, and basic technical drawings.
• Two-wheeler license (for customer visits).
• Working Style Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
• Ability to multitask across operations.
• Team player with problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies in lighting.
