Fashion Designer Cum Merchandiser

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer cum Merchandiser who has strong expertise in garment design, embroidery development, and production coordination. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling the complete process from concept development to final production while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

• Key Responsibilities

🎨 Design & Development

• Create innovative garment designs in line with current fashion trends and brand aesthetics.
• Develop embroidery designs (manual and digital).
• Prepare tech packs, design specifications, and sampling instructions.
• Work closely with sampling teams to develop prototypes.

🧵 Embroidery & Machine Knowledge

Strong knowledge of embroidery techniques such as hand embroidery and machine embroidery.

• Understanding of embroidery machines (e.g., multi-head machines, computerized embroidery machines, etc.).
• Ability to guide operators regarding stitch types, thread selection, placements, and finishing.
• Monitor embroidery quality and troubleshoot design or machine-related issues.

📦 Merchandising & Production

• HandlingSource fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Coordinate with vendors, embroidery units, and production teams.
• Handle costing, order follow-ups, and production timelines.
• Supervise production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Manage bulk production and ensure timely dispatch of orders.
