Job Description: Rehab Technician / Fiber Network Engineer – ACT Fibernet

Job Purpose

ACT Fibernet is undertaking a network rehabilitation project in Jaipur. We are looking for experienced Rehab Technicians / Fiber Network Engineers to support end-to-end rehabilitation activities, including new cable laying, equipment installation, and recovery of old infrastructure to ensure network reliability and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Candidate should have Bike and License
• Carry out new cable laying across the assigned cluster, including:
• Cluster to L1
• L1 to L2
• L2 to Customer premises
• Perform L1 and L2 installations as per ACT Fibernet standards
• Ensure proper termination, routing, labeling, and testing of newly laid cables
• Dismantle and recover old/existing cables after completion of new cable laying
• Submit all recovered old cables and materials to the designated ACT Fibernet store/warehouse
• Coordinate with supervisors and field teams to ensure timely completion of rehab activities
• Follow safety guidelines, quality standards, and documentation procedures
• Ensure minimum disruption to customers during rehab activities
• You should wear Proper kit on the work

Candidate Profile / Requirements

• Experience in fiber network deployment or rehabilitation projects (ISP / Telecom preferred)
• Hands-on knowledge of FTTH / broadband network infrastructure
• Familiarity with L1, L2 installations and cable laying practices
• Ability to work in field conditions across assigned clusters
• Basic understanding of tools, splicing, termination, and testing (preferred)
• Willingness to work on project timelines and targets
