Job Title: Sales Executive – Packaging Industry

Location: [Rajasthan]

Reports To: Sales Manager/Head of Sales

Job Summary

As a Sales Executive in the packaging industry, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients. You will offer tailored packaging solutions to various industries, ensuring that the company meets its sales targets and delivers exceptional service. Your role involves a mix of prospecting, sales presentations, contract negotiations, and post-sales support.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify potential clients and decision-makers within target industries e.g. food and beverage.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide clients with customized packaging solutions based on their specific product requirements.
  • Regularly meet with clients to assess their needs, provide updates, and address any concerns.


Sales Presentations and Negotiation:

  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to demonstrate product features, benefits, and value propositions.


Reporting and Sales Strategy:

  • Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market feedback to management.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of sales strategies to increase market share.


Market Intelligence and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about the latest packaging industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in packaging materials and technologies.
  • Communicate customer feedback and market insights to internal teams to assist in product development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with proven sales experience).
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in sales, ideally in the packaging industry or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials (e.g., plastics, paper, cardboard) and their applications in different industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients.
