Field Technical Specialist

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Resolve dealer/site/field issues promptly to ensure “Zero” repeat failures.
Reduce average workshop and breakdown turnaround time (TAT).
Train and monitor technician performance at dealer locations.
Handle complex technical issues such as ECU flashing, advanced diagnostics, and troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems.
Resolve breakdowns requiring expert intervention without towing vehicles to workshops.
Guide dealer teams on correct firmware or ECU updates for vehicles.
Provide immediate assistance to minimize downtime for commercial fleets.
Attend urgent cases where vehicles are stranded due to technical failures.
Train local technicians on advanced repair techniques and new tools.
Act as a technical knowledge resource for field teams.

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechatronics / Electronics / Mechanical

 

General Experience

Minimum 5 years in a commercial vehicle company or dealer environment with hands-on experience in Electrical, wiring harness, EMS, ATS, engine, gearbox, differential, exhaust systems, brakes and tire wear issues.
