Job Description

Role Overview

The Head – Franchise Development will lead the strategic expansion of the company’s franchise network across India while ensuring efficient procurement and supply chain management for all franchise operations.

This role is responsible for identifying and onboarding franchise partners, executing store rollouts, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring seamless supply of jewellery inventory to franchise outlets.

The position requires strong expertise in retail expansion, business development, vendor negotiation, and multi-location franchise operations within the jewellery industry.

1. Franchise Network Expansion

●       Develop and execute a national franchise expansion strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.

●       Identify high-potential cities, malls, and retail high streets for franchise store openings.

●       Lead the end-to-end franchise lifecycle, including partner identification, due diligence, commercial negotiations, and onboarding.

2. Store Launch & Setup

●       Manage the complete franchise store setup process.

●       Coordinate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure timely store launches.

●       Ensure brand consistency and visual merchandising standards across all franchise stores.

3. Franchise Partner Management

●       Establish and maintain strong strategic relationships with franchise partners and investors.

●       Provide guidance on store operations, sales strategy, inventory planning, and customer experience.

●       Monitor franchise profitability, compliance, and operational performance.

4. Procurement & Vendor Management

●       Oversee procurement of jewellery inventory, raw materials, packaging, and retail supplies.

●       Build and manage relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers.

●       Lead price negotiations, vendor evaluation, and contract management to ensure cost optimization an d quality standards.

5. Inventory Planning & Supply Chain

●       Ensure effective inventory allocation across franchise stores.

●       Monitor stock movement, demand forecasting, and replenishment cycles.

●       Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely product availability at franchise locations.

6. Compliance & Governance

●       Ensure franchise partners adhere to company policies, brand standards, and operational guidelines.

●       Maintain compliance with industry regulations, hallmarking standards, and procurement policies.

 

Leadership Expectations

●       Drive franchise revenue growth and geographic expansion.

●       Build and lead a high-performing expansion and procurement team.

●       Represent the brand in strategic franchise partnerships and negotiations.
