Job Title: Hotel Manager

Reports To: Management / Cluster Head

Job Summary:

The Hotel Manager is responsible for the overall operations, profitability, guest satisfaction, and team management of the hotel. The role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning while maintaining service quality, cost control, and compliance with company standards.

• Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee daily hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B (if applicable)
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, service, and guest experience
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure proper check-in/check-out procedures and accurate billing
• Revenue & Cost Control Monitor room inventory, occupancy, ADR, and revenue
• Coordinate with OTA partners (OYO, Booking, MakeMyTrip, etc.)
• Control expenses and ensure profitability
• Ensure timely collection of payments and control cash handling
• Staff Management Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise hotel staff
• Ensure staff discipline, grooming, and service standards
• Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance & leaves
• Conduct regular performance reviews
• Administration & Compliance Maintain guest records, ID verification, and police compliance
• Ensure compliance with local laws, fire safety, and hotel policies
• Maintain registers, reports, and daily MIS
• Coordinate with vendors, owners, and service providers
• Maintenance & Asset Management Ensure proper upkeep of rooms, public areas, and hotel assets
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Monitor utilities like electricity, water, and DG usage
• Skills & Requirements Minimum 2–5 years of experience as Hotel Manager / Assistant Manager
• Experience in budget or mid-scale hotels preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good knowledge of OTA operations and PMS systems
• Problem-solving and guest-handling skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Education Graduate in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Any discipline
• Diploma in Hotel Management is an added advantage
• Working Hours 6 days a week (rotational shifts as per operational needs)
