Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

As a Tenant-to-Tenant Migration Engineer you will need a strong background in Microsoft 365 (M365) services to lead and support enterprise-level migration initiatives. You will have demonstrable experience delivering complex tenant-to-tenant migrations, utilizing various third-party tools and Microsoft-native capabilities to manage data, user identities, and workloads in a secure and scalable manner.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and execute M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Teams
Conduct pre-migration assessments, dependency mapping, and readiness evaluations.
Manage and execute the migration lifecycle: discovery, pilot, cutover, and post-migration validation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration strategy, schedule downtime, and communicate risks and mitigations.
Perform PowerShell scripting and automation tasks for user provisioning, data transformation, and reporting.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during migration phases with minimal user disruption.
Maintain detailed documentation of migration configurations, processes, and issue resolutions.
Work closely with IT security, compliance, and identity teams to ensure secure migration practices.
Provide post-migration support and ensure successful handoff to operational teams.
Experience with Microsoft 365, with a focus on Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
Proven track record of delivering multiple tenant-to-tenant M365 migration projects at scale.
Strong hands-on experience with migration tools such as:
Quest On Demand Migration
BitTitan MigrationWiz
ShareGate
Proficiency with PowerShell for automation, reporting, and custom task handling.
Understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance considerations in migration scenarios.
Familiarity with data governance, information protection, and retention policies.

Day-to-Day Activities:
Participate in technical planning sessions and stakeholder meetings.
Conduct tenant discovery and environment analysis.
Prepare user mapping, data inventories, and cutover schedules.
Configure and test migration tools and scripts.
Execute migrations according to the agreed project plan.
Monitor migration dashboards, logs, and reports for performance and errors.
Coordinate with end users and helpdesk teams for issue resolution.
