Interior Designer - Furniture

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing innovative, functional, and market-driven furniture products aligned with current trends and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design furniture products such as plywood furniture, modular furniture, and interior solutions
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using design software
• Develop product concepts from initial idea to final execution
• Coordinate with production and sales teams for design feasibility
• Ensure designs are cost-effective and suitable for manufacturing
• Stay updated with latest furniture trends, materials, and finishes
• Work on client-specific custom furniture requirements
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications for production

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, 3ds Max, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of plywood, laminates, hardware, and furniture construction
• Creative thinking with attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in modular furniture or plywood industry
• Knowledge of cost estimation and material optimization
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
