IT Engineer - Design

Functional Competencies

• Leading coordination with consultants / EPC Contractors for Design of ICT & ELV systems
• Examining the design consultants to maximize quality and value while minimizing the risk profile for the project
• Managing third-party and internal stakeholders technical and constructability reviews of deliverables
• A willingness to travel as per requirements
• Understanding of Airport core system AODB, CUPPS, CUTE, SBD, FBLB, FIDS, Digital Communications, and other ICT components like Active- Passive, VIOP, Datacenter etc.
• Digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills
• Adaptation to Adani’s growing Airport’s business portfolio & its dynamics.

Key Accountabilities

• Designing and planning of Airport Terminal and ancillary buildings
• Monitoring the drawing production progress and coordinating /mitigating all design related issues along with the construction team
• Managing the information flow and managing the incorporation of any comments
• Checking drawings and confirming approvals for the issue and liaising with document controller for publication and down-loading of drawings
• Providing reports on planning and processes whereby ensuring correct specification as advised
• Assisting in the provision of an effective and efficient, high-quality engineering design
• Coordinate on the planning for key intermediate project delivery milestones and proactively track work progress, manage design consultants and design for timely delivery of projects
• Design optimization and value engineering to plan estimations, budget planning and tender documentation. Technical assessment of bids and selection of consultants for the work packages to support IT infra for various projects
• Proactively monitor design progress, expediting, risk mitigation and management of design
• Coordination with multiple stakeholders at Airport – Project and Adani HO for standardization of systems and work processes
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people in large complex projects
• Act as the primary technical liaison between the organization and external consultants.
• Review consultant designs, drawings, and specifications for ICT and ELV systems.
• Provide feedback and ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate meetings, resolve technical queries, and ensure smooth execution of consultant-driven tasks.

• A graduate/postgraduate in IT/ Computer/Electronics engineering degree or equivalent qualification 
• ITIL, PMP, CCNA
• Experience of any project of similar nature and experience in leading design coordination (all disciplines- Structure/ Architecture/ Interiors/ MEPF/Landscaping)
