Key Account Manager

Job Description (What You Will Do):

·      Search and identify travel agents, corporates, and event planners in different cities using Google and other online directories along with the company internal resources.

·      Prepare and maintain a clean and structured Excel database with complete contact details.

·      Make outbound calls to understand each agent’s business type such as: Inbound / Outbound travel, School/ College Group Bookings, Corporates, MICE, Weddings and Social Events etc.

·      Classify and refine data based on agent profile and working segment

·      Create a targeted portfolio of agents, corporates, and event planners suitable for our hotels and resorts

·      Communicate with agents via calls, WhatsApp, and email to introduce hotels/resorts and start business

·      Build and maintain strong professional relationships to ensure regular business flow

·      Follow up regularly so agents remain active and engaged with our properties

·      Introducing new hotels/ resorts in company portfolio to your targeted portfolio

·      Coordinate face-to-face meetings between agents and field sales team when required

·      Invite agents, corporates, and event planners to travel fairs, exhibitions, and events where the company participates

·      Be available at company stalls during travel events, if required

·      Maintain daily call logs, follow-up notes, and portfolio status in Excel or CRM

Must Have Skill Set:

·      Ability to make confident outbound calls

·      Clear spoken and written English & Hindi

·      Strong Excel skills (data entry, sorting, filtering, basic formulas)

·      Ability to search, download, clean, and organize data

·      Basic understanding of: Travel agents, corporate bookings, Group bookings, Hotel reservations

·      Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, and phone for business communication

·      Good follow-up discipline and payment coordination ability

·      Organized, patient, and relationship-oriented mindset

Good to Have Skill Set

·      Prior experience in hotel sales, travel trade, or reservations

·      Experience working with PMS / CRM / Channel Manager

·      Knowledge of weddings, MICE, and event business

·      Ability to attend travel exhibitions and trade fairs

·      Familiarity with Google Sheets or CRM tools

·      Understanding of rate contracts and corporate agreements
