Job Description
- Kitchen Cleanliness & HygieneMaintain cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, and work areas at all times
- Follow proper sanitation and food safety standards
- Ensure timely cleaning of dishes, equipment, and storage areas
- 2. Food Preparation SupportAssist chefs in basic food preparation (cutting, peeling, washing vegetables, etc.)
- Arrange ingredients as per kitchen requirements
- Support in plating and basic cooking tasks when required
- 3. Inventory HandlingHelp in receiving and storing kitchen supplies properly
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of food items
- Inform senior staff about shortages or spoilage
- 4. Waste ManagementDispose of kitchen waste properly as per guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of garbage area
- Minimize food wastage wherever possible
- 5. Equipment HandlingHandle kitchen equipment carefully and safely
- Report any damage or malfunction immediately
- 6. Compliance & SafetyFollow all safety, hygiene, and company policies
- Use gloves, uniforms, and protective gear properly
- Ensure personal hygiene standards are maintained
- 7. Team SupportAssist chefs and kitchen staff during busy hours
- Coordinate with team members for smooth kitchen operations
- Be flexible with shift timings and duties
