Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and improve mechanical components, systems, and products. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D/3D models, conducting analysis, and coordinating with production teams to ensure efficient manufacturing and product performance.

• Key Responsibilities:Design mechanical components and assemblies using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• Create BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation
• Conduct design calculations and engineering analysis
• Perform tolerance analysis and apply GD&T standards
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams
• Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback
• Ensure designs comply with industry and safety standards
• Support prototype development and testing
• Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–5 years of experience in mechanical design
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machining, fabrication, etc.)
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Good knowledge of materials and mechanical systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Preferred Skills:Experience in product development
• Knowledge of simulation tools (ANSYS)
• Experience in HVAC / Automobile / Machinery industry (if applicable)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Working Conditions:Office-based design work with occasional factory/site visits
• Team collaboration environment
