Merchandiser

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Garment Merchandiser to manage buyer communications, order execution, production coordination, and timely delivery of garments. The candidate will act as a bridge between buyers and the production team to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.

• Key Responsibilities:Communicate with buyers regarding product specifications, pricing, sampling, and approvals
• Handle order processing from sample development to final shipment
• Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams
• Prepare cost sheets and negotiate prices with buyers
• Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery
• Follow up on fabric sourcing, trims, and accessories
• Ensure quality standards as per buyer requirements
• Maintain proper documentation (POs, invoices, shipment details, etc.)
• Resolve production and quality-related issues promptly
• Track shipment schedules and coordinate with freight forwarders
• Required Skills:Strong knowledge of garment production processes
• Understanding of fabric types, trims, and costing
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills
• Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
• Basic knowledge of export documentation (for export house)
• Qualifications:Graduate/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Textile Technology, or related field
• Experience in garment export house/manufacturing unit preferred
