Job Description

Job Title: Senior Meta Ads Executive / Meta Ads Strategist

Role Overview

This role is for someone who already knows how Meta ads actually work beyond buttons and dashboards. You will be responsible for planning, launching, and improving campaigns that drive measurable business results. Unlike the junior role, you own performance. If ROAS drops, you investigate. If scaling is possible, you push it. You are expected to think, not just execute.

1) Core Responsibilities


1a) Campaign Strategy & Planning

  • Build full-funnel campaign structures (testing → scaling → retention)
  • Decide objectives, budgets, audiences, and creative angles
  • Create testing roadmaps (angles, hooks, formats, audiences)
  • Choose when to kill, duplicate, or scale campaigns

1b) Media Buying & Optimization

  • Daily monitoring of KPIs (CPA, CTR, CPM, Frequency, ROAS)
  • Budget scaling and reallocation
  • Diagnose performance drops and fix root causes
  • Handle learning phase management and spend stability
  • Prevent ad fatigue through structured testing

1c) Creative Direction

  • Suggest hooks, concepts, and formats to creative team
  • Analyze winning creatives and iterate variations
  • Identify patterns behind top performers
  • Communicate clearly what to make next and why

1d) Tracking & Data Analysis

  • Audit pixel and event tracking
  • Identify attribution issues
  • Analyze funnel leakage (ad → landing page → checkout)
  • Work with website team to improve conversion rate

1e) Client Communication

  • Explain performance in business language, not ad jargon
  • Lead performance calls
  • Set realistic expectations and scaling timelines
  • Recommend budget changes backed by data

2) Required Skills

2a) Must Have

  • Hands-on experience managing Meta ad accounts with real budgets
  • Strong understanding of ad auction, learning phase, and scaling behavior
  • Ability to interpret metrics and make decisions (not just report them)
  • Clear communication and ownership mindset
  • Comfortable handling multiple accounts simultaneously

2b) Strong Advantage

  • E-commerce experience
  • Funnel and landing page understanding
  • Experience coordinating with creative/video editors
  • Ability to build testing frameworks instead of random testing

3) What You Will Be Measured on:

  • Account stability
  • Cost efficiency
  • Scaling ability
  • Speed of diagnosing problems
  • Quality of communication with clients

4) Growth Path

  • Start as account strategist handling selected brands
  • Move to portfolio manager (multiple accounts + junior supervision)
  • Eventually lead media buying team

Growth depends on performance impact, not tenure.
