Node Js Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Work with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to define and deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience working with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Basic understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with TypeScript and modern ES features.
• Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis Streams).
• Knowledge of authentication systems (JWT, OAuth2, Passport.js).
• Experience with unit testing and frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or Supertest.
• Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes.
