Online Revenue Manager

Job Description (What You Will Do):

·      Register the hotels on Online Travel Platforms and meta platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia, TripAdvisor, Google, etc, if missing.

·      Create, update, and optimize hotel listings (photos, descriptions, amenities, policies) to increase visibility and bookings from different online travel platforms.

·      Regularly monitor and update room rates based on occupancy, season, demand, and competitor hotel prices.

·      Create attractive stay packages by combining rooms with meals, experiences, or add-on services to increase revenue.

·      Coordinate with the guest and front office to ensure guests are politely encouraged to leave reviews on TripAdvisor and other platforms.

·      Maintain the right balance between room occupancy and average room rate to maximize the total revenue.

·      Build and maintain professional relationships with OTA relationship managers and hotel stakeholders.

·      Use reports and analytics from OTA extranets to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.

·      Assist in basic business forecasting using past booking and revenue data.

·      Understand and verify reservation vouchers received from OTAs for accuracy.

·      Work on channel managers, PMS, and CRM systems for inventory, pricing, and booking management.

·      Accurately calculate commissions, discounts, markups, and GST as required in daily operations.

Must Have Skill Set:

·      Aggressive & proactive sales attitude

·      Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email, internet browsing)

·      Ability to do basic calculations (%, commission, discount, GST) without errors

·      Basic understanding of hotels, room types, tariffs, and occupancy

·      Ability to read, understand, and act on OTA dashboards and reports

·      Clear written and verbal communication (email, WhatsApp, calls)

·      Attention to detail (rates, inventory, vouchers, policies must match exactly)

·      Willingness to learn and adapt to multiple systems and platforms

·      Basic analytical thinking (compare rates, occupancy, trends)

·      Professional attitude while dealing with OTA managers and hotel teams

Good to Have Skill Set

·      Prior exposure to OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, TripAdvisor, Google Hotel)

·      Basic knowledge of revenue management concepts

·      Understanding of seasonality and demand patterns in hospitality

·      Experience in hospitality, travel, or e-commerce industry

·      Ability to prepare simple performance reports or forecasts in Excel

·      Knowledge of competitor benchmarking and market analysis

·      Familiarity with guest review management and online reputation tools
