We're solving complex data integration challenges that large companies have struggled with, and we're looking for a talented Power BI expert to help us scale our operations and deliver world-class analytics to our customers.

The Role: We're looking for a hands-on Power BI Developer who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our analytics infrastructure. This isn't just a "build dashboards" role - you'll be integral to our product delivery, working directly with client data, building integrations, and ensuring our customers get actionable insights.

This is a high-impact role where you'll:

• Own the end-to-end Power BI development and deployment process
• Build and maintain data integrations from multiple sources
• Publish and customize reports for newly onboarded clients
• Design intuitive, professional dashboards that our clients love
• Implement new data channel integrations as we expand
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues
• Work in a secure, monitored environment with sensitive financial data

What You'll Do Daily

30% - Client Onboarding & Deployment

• Set up Power BI workspaces for new clients
• Configure data connections and refresh schedules
• Customize reports based on client requirements
• Handle publishing and user access management

30% - Data Integration & ETL

• Build and maintain Power Query transformations
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, Excel, and third-party platforms
• Ensure data quality and validation
• Troubleshoot integration issues

25% - Report Development & Optimization

• Create compelling visualizations and dashboards
• Write efficient DAX measures and calculations
• Optimize report performance
• Maintain data models

15% - Maintenance & Support

• Monitor scheduled refreshes
• Fix issues and bugs
• Respond to internal requests
• Document processes and create training materials

Must-Have RequirementsTechnical Skills:

• ✅ 3+ years hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop, Service, Gateway)
• ✅ Strong Power Query (M language) skills for data transformation
• ✅ Advanced DAX knowledge for calculations and measures
• ✅ Data modeling expertise (star schema, relationships, performance optimization)
• ✅ API integrations experience (REST APIs, authentication, data extraction)
• ✅ Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas - we work with Excel data heavily)
• ✅ SQL basics (writing queries, understanding databases)

Professional Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail when working with financial data
• Ability to work independently and own projects end-to-end
• Good communication skills for explaining technical concepts
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to troubleshoot
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

• Experience with Python or R for data processing
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools
• Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation
• Exposure to Git or version control
• Understanding of data security and compliance
• Previous startup experience
