Production Manager

About the Role

We’re hiring a Production & Sourcing Lead to anchor our jewellery manufacturing operations — from raw material procurement to finished goods coordination. You’ll manage everything from vendor relationships to quality control, playing a critical role in ensuring on-time, high-quality production.

This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role ideal for someone with strong production knowledge and a passion for building systems. If you have experience working with karigars, CAD/CAM teams, or factory units — and love combining jewellery expertise with tech-enabled workflows — we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

• Source gold and diamond jewellery, loose diamonds, gemstones, chains & findings
• Develop relationships with new vendors; manage existing partnerships
• Issue purchase orders (POs) and follow up on timelines, quality & dispatches
• Coordinate raw material procurement for ongoing production
• Forecast timelines and work closely with design, CAD & operations teams
• Oversee receipt and tracking of loose and finished inventory
• Run QC checks based on predefined standards
• Maintain detailed records in Excel and/or ERP platforms
• Handle customization and job-specific requirements from various departments
• Support planning of exhibitions or show participation when required
• Monitor vendor performance and optimize sourcing strategy over time

Qualifications & Skills

• 2–5 years of hands-on jewellery production/sourcing experience
• Deep understanding of CAD/CAM/CPX workflows and manufacturing logic
• Experience working with factories, karigars or in-house manufacturing teams
• Strong in Excel, email, and digital tools; ERP experience is a plus
• Fluent in Hindi and English (written + spoken)
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and integrity in handling jewellery and costing
• Willingness to travel for vendor visits, exhibitions, or production audits
• Familiarity with gold & diamond valuation, basic jewellery accounting is a bonus
