Quality Assurance Tester

Job description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Website Tester to evaluate and ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our company’s website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, reporting issues, and providing feedback to improve the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing on website features, user workflows, and UI components.
• Conduct automated tests using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, usability issues, and broken links using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
• Verify website functionality, compatibility, and responsiveness across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Test critical features such as forms, login/logout processes, navigation, and data validation.
• Participate in regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure no breakage of existing features.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Write and maintain clear and comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test result documentation.
• Ensure the website meets established quality, accessibility (WCAG), and performance standards.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of websites, user flows, and browser behavior.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow test checklists and report issues accurately.
• Familiarity with various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
• Good communication skills to report bugs clearly.
• 2+Experience with tools like Jira, Bugzilla, Trello, or Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (for technical roles).
• Prior experience in website testing or QA is a plus.
