Job Description

Role Purpose -The Sales Coordinator will act as the central support hub for the sales organization, ensuring smooth coordination between the field sales team and management by tracking activities, compiling performance data, preparing reports, and ensuring timely follow-ups for achieving sales targets.

This role is critical in converting field activity into structured information, actionable insights, and disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Team Coordination-Coordinate daily with the field sales team regarding their sales activities, beat plans, dealer visits, orders, collections, and follow-ups.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities and ensure timely reporting from the sales team.
  • Follow up with sales executives and managers to ensure targets, visits, and commitments are met as per plan.
  • Sales Performance Tracking - Collect, compile, and maintain sales data including targets, achievements, dealer performance, product-wise sales, and collections.
  • Prepare accurate sales and performance reports for management review meetings.
  • Monitor gaps between targets and achievements and highlight variances to sales leadership.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain:
  • Daily Sales Reports (DSR)
  • Weekly performance summaries
  • Monthly target vs achievement reports
  • Product-wise and area-wise sales analysis
  • Ensure all reports are up-to-date, accurate, and presented in a clear and professional format.
  • Management Support - Support management in review meetings by preparing presentations, data sheets, and analysis in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Provide structured information required for decision-making, sales planning, and performance evaluation.
  • Maintain records of commitments, action points, and follow-ups from sales review meetings.
  • Process & Discipline - Ensure timely submission of required data from the sales team.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all sales reports, MIS, and performance data.
  • Act as a link between sales, accounts, logistics, and management for smooth flow of information.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong command over Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to handle large volumes of sales data accurately

Good communication and follow-up skills

High attention to detail and data accuracy

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
