Sales & Marketing Executive

As a Solar BOM Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling residential solar installation materials — including solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, ACDB/DCDB, and balance of system (BOS) components — directly to solar installers, EPC contractors, and local electricians. This is a B2B field sales role focused on building strong channel partner relationships and driving consistent material supply orders.

📋 Key Responsibilities

🔹  Identify, visit, and onboard solar installers, EPC contractors, and electricians as channel partners

🔹  Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) based on customer project requirements — panels, inverter, structure, cables, ACDB/DCDB, earthing

🔹  Prepare competitive quotations and close deals through effective price negotiation

🔹  Generate new business leads through field visits, referrals, and market networking

🔹  Maintain and grow existing customer accounts — secure repeat and bulk orders

🔹  Coordinate with warehouse/store team for stock availability and timely delivery

🔹  Track payment collections and manage customer credit within defined limits

🔹  Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, and market trends

🔹  Achieve monthly sales targets — both volume (kWp) and revenue (₹ value)

🔹  Submit daily visit reports and order updates to the reporting manager

✅ Candidate Requirements

⭐  Minimum 1 year of B2B field sales experience in solar or electrical materials

⭐  Working knowledge of solar BOM — ability to size a system and list required materials

⭐  Experience in dealing with solar installers, contractors, or electricians

⭐  Valid two-wheeler driving licence — own vehicle preferred

⭐  Basic numerical ability — system sizing (kWp), cable length estimation, price calculation

⭐  Proficient with smartphone — WhatsApp quotations, Google Sheets / Excel for BOM

⭐  Existing network of solar installers or contractors in Jaipur / nearby region

🌟 Preferred / Good To Have

💡  Knowledge of PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana — subsidy process and documentation

💡  Familiarity with DISCOM net metering application process

💡  Prior experience working with a solar distributor, wholesaler, or EPC company

💡  Ability to prepare BOM in Excel / Google Sheets independently

💡  Awareness of Indian standards — IS 7098, IS 14255, IS 3043, IS 8130

💡  Strong existing relationships with top residential solar installers in the region
