Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Accounts Officer to manage our financial transactions, tax compliances, payroll processing, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, along with proficiency in Tally, Excel, and Google Sheets.

Key Responsibilities:

Taxation & Compliance:

Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly submission of GST and TDS returns to the Chartered Accountant.

Ensure compliance with TDS deductions, RCM applicability, and other GST-related industry regulations.

Stay updated on tax compliance and regulatory changes.

Ensuring Proper Submission of ESI and PF returns to the concerned authorities by HR Department.

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

Finalization of Accounts and conducting internal and external audits.

Intercompany transactions handling and reconciliation.

Regularly report financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow Statement) to the Directors.

Payroll & Banking Operations:

Payroll processing and ensuring timely salary disbursement.

Daily payment sheet updation and submission to the concerned person for approval and processing.

Managing banking transactions, Letter of Credit (LC), and Bank Guarantees (BG).

Reconciliation & Financial Control:

Bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Vendor ledger reconciliations and addressing discrepancies.

Preparing Clients' Sundry reports and maintaining accurate records.

Expenses approvals and reconciliations.

Handling all payment approvals.

Inventory & Data Management

Inventory management and stock audits.

Ensure accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Tally, Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Forms.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Good knowledge of PF and ESI compliance (preferred but not mandatory).

Excellent communication skills and ability to report financial insights to management.

Preferred Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.

Experience in handling audits and statutory compliances.

Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations.
