Lead cum Senior PHP Developer (Laravel / CodeIgniter / WordPress / Shopify)

 We are looking for a highly skilled Team Lead cum Senior PHP Developer with strong technical expertise in Laravel, CodeIgniter, WordPress, and Shopify to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects, architecting scalable solutions, providing technical leadership, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipLead and manage the development team; assign tasks, review work, and mentor junior developers.
• Architect and build custom web applications using Laravel and CodeIgniter.
• Develop and customize WordPress and Shopify-based websites (themes, plugins, apps).
• Optimize websites and applications for scalability, performance, and security.
• Perform code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Project Management & DeliveryPlan, manage, and oversee end-to-end project execution.
• Break down technical requirements and allocate workload efficiently.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams (Design, Marketing, QA) to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor project progress and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain version control (Git).
• Development & IntegrationWrite clean, optimized, reusable PHP code using modern principles (MVC, OOP).
• Develop custom WordPress plugins/themes and Shopify apps.
• Integrate APIs, third-party tools, CRMs, and payment gateways.
• Handle website migrations, backups, and upgrades.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Team & CommunicationConduct training sessions to upgrade team knowledge on latest tools and frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance and support in complex problem-solving.
• Maintain a collaborative and process-oriented work environment.
• Support client communication for technical discussions and solutions.
• Required Technical SkillsPHP (Core + OOP), Laravel, CodeIgniter
• WordPress (custom theme/plugin development)
• Shopify (custom app development, Liquid templates)
• MySQL / PostgreSQL
• RESTful APIs integration
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
• Git / Bitbucket
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, caching, web performance optimization
• Familiarity with AWS / cPanel / WHM / Docker / CI/CD pipelines (plus point)

• Familiarity with eCommerce & CMS customization.
• Exposure to SaaS development (added advantage).
