Job Description

Responsibilities:

·      Write test automation and train the team to create test automation scripts.

·      Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

·      Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

·      Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

·      Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly and track them to closure.

·      Perform thorough regression testing when issues are fixed.

·      Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client requirements.

·      Liaise with internal teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to identify system requirements.

·      Monitor debugging process results and ensure timely resolutions.

·      Investigate causes of non-conforming software and guide users on implementing solutions.

·      Track quality assurance metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.

·      Stay up to date with new testing tools, automation frameworks, and test strategies.

Skills Required:

Technical Skills:

Understanding of software architectural concepts and workflows, knowledge of HTML or other programming languages, and the ability to create technical documentation.

Analytical Skills:

·      Ability to track, identify, and analyse bugs, defects, and testing data.

Problem-Solving Skills:

·      Ability to troubleshoot complex testing issues and implement effective solutions.

Quality Assurance Methodology:

·      Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies for web and application testing.

Interpersonal Skills:

·      Strong verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate with developers and junior staff.

Time Management:

·      Ability to work efficiently, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
